Since it is the holiday season and there are so many of you that is traveling, weather that be flying home for Christmas, spending time with the family, having a destination Christmas or spending the New Year on a trip. I thought I would share my traveling tips with you. As most of my followers know, I travel a lot throughout the year. Mostly it is all work related, meetings and conventions. However we do have times that we relax and play. There is a system that can make traveling so much more enjoyable and way less stressful.
I thought this would be a great opportunity to share with you some of the tips I’ve been developing that make traveling so much easier. It all starts with the packing and planning. Yes, you have to take some time to plan. One thing I didn’t like was trying to figure out what chothes to wear on what day. Thankfully most of my trips are basically the same, so I have it pretty much down to wear I automatically know what to pack and don’t have to make a list. I just know what all goes in the suitcase. So here you go.
- Plan make a list of the activites you will be doing each day. Travel, workout, meetings, dinner, family play.
- Use that list to create a list of the items you want to wear for that day. Meeting clothes, workout clothes, or casual outfit for hanging out with the family. Including shoes and accessories.
- Count how many days your trip will be and pack under garments and socks for each day.
- Create a list of non-outfit items you need. Ipad, laptop, chargers, books, makeup, toiletries.
We also always have it planned and arranged ahead of time as to how we are going to get from the airport to our destination. Weather that is renting a vehicle or using uber, it is always set in place before we leave. That way when we arrive and get our luggage, there is no stress about what we are going to do next. I hope these tips help you on your travels. I love hearing from you so comment and let me know if this helps you or if there is any tips you have learned from traveling. We all learn and help each other. Blessings!!
